Boo! For many of us Halloween is a time to get a chilling fright by walking into a haunted house or to live out our dreams or become our favorite action hero. Wonderwoman! G.I. Joe! Batman! There are also costumes that make us laugh. When I was in elementary school I remember a classmate dressing up as the purple grapes with purple balloons from Fruit of the Loom! Send us your favorite Halloween costume photos and we may post them on our Facebook page! This year, there are plenty of dressing up opportunities.
Elsa from Frozen or Mario from Super Mario Brothers. Maybe it means being a historical figure like Abraham Lincoln or a vampire from Breaking Dawn. How about Ariel the mermaid or Snow White or the Wicked Witch of the East?
Prizes up to $100 in Zerns bucks will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place along with the funniest, coolest, scariest and most original costume!
Halloween reminds us of candy corn. Our favorite childhood candies. Fresh crisp fall air. Leaves turning. Caramel apples. Hot cider and pumpkin pie. And of course, helping children to dress up and transform into someone spook-tacular and spectacular!!!!
At Zerns we are excited to bring back our ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PARADE! This parade will begin in the main market and children will make their way out to the flea market. Bring those smart phones and cameras. This event will be a fun one for the entire family! This year our children’s costume parade is happening on October 25th, 2014 at 6 p.m.
Wear your favorite character, scary costume or something unexpected for a chance to win ZERNS bucks!
